SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator. 5. Analytical tools and advertising

Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. In the process, the website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, duration of the visit, operating systems used and origin of the user. Google may combine this data in a profile that is assigned to the respective user or his or her device.
Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google on the use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
The use of this analysis tool is in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). The website operator has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both their web content and their advertising. If there has been a request for corresponding consent (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). The consent can be withdrawn at any time.

IP anonymization
We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. This means that within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area your IP address will be truncated by Google before it is transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator in connection with the use of the website and the internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data from Google.

Browser plugin
You can prevent Google from collecting and processing your information by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
More information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in the Google privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

Order processing
We have concluded a contract with Google for order processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Demographic Characteristics in Google Analytics
This website uses the “Demographic Characteristics” feature in Google Analytics to help visitors to the website find appropriate advertisements within the Google advertising network. This allows reports to be generated that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of the visitors. This data is derived from Google’s interest-based advertising and from third-party visitor data. This data cannot be associated with any particular person. You can disable this feature at any time by changing the ad settings on your Google account, or generally prohibit Google Analytics from collecting your information as described in the “Opting out of data collection” section.

Google Analytics Ecommerce Tracking
This website uses the “Ecommerce Tracking” feature of Google Analytics. Ecommerce Tracking enables the website operator to analyse the purchasing behaviour of website visitors to improve their online marketing campaigns. In doing so, information such as the orders placed, average order values, shipping costs and the time from viewing to purchasing a product is recorded. This data can be summarized by Google under a transaction ID, which is assigned to the respective user or their device.

Storage period
User and event-based data stored at Google that is linked to cookies, login names (e.g. User ID) or advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID) is anonymised or deleted after 14 months. For details, please see the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=de

IONOS WebAnalytics
This website uses the analysis services of IONOS WebAnalytics (known hereafter as: IONOS). The provider is 1&1 IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, D – 56410 Montabaur. Within the scope of analyses with IONOS it is possible to analyse, among other things, visitor numbers and behaviour (e.g. number of page views, duration of a website visit, bounce rates), visitor sources (i.e. from which page the visitor has come), visitor locations and technical data (browser and operating system versions). For this purpose IONOS stores the following data in particular:
Referrer (website visited beforehand)
Requested web page or file
Browser type and version
Operating system used
Type of device used
Time of access
IP address in anonymous form (only used to determine the access location)
According to IONOS, the data collection process is completely anonymous, so that it cannot be traced back to individual persons. Cookies are not stored by IONOS
WebAnalytics.
The storage and analysis of the data is in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). The website operator has a legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both their website and their advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the data will be processed exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). The consent can be withdrawn at any time.
For more information on data collection and processing by IONOS WebAnalytics, please refer to the IONOS privacy policy at the following link:
https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/index.php?id=6

Order processing
We have concluded a contract with IONOS for order processing. This contract is intended to ensure that IONOS handles your personal data in accordance with data protection regulations.

WordPress Stats
This website uses the WordPress tool Stats to statistically evaluate visitor access. The provider is Automattic Inc, 60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110-4929, USA.
WordPress Stats uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user across different pages for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information thus collected about the use of this website is stored on servers in the USA. Your IP address will be anonymised after processing and before being stored.
This analysis tool is used in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymised analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both their website and their advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). The consent can be withdrawn at any time.
You can object to the collection and use of your data for the future by clicking on this link: https://www.quantcast.com/opt-out/ and setting an opt-out cookie in your browser.
If you delete the cookies on your computer, you will have to set the opt-out cookie again.

Google Ads
The website operator uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising programme of Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Ads enables us to display advertisements in the Google search engine or on third party websites if the user enters certain search terms in Google (keyword targeting). Furthermore, targeted ads can be played out based on the user data available at Google (e.g. location data and interests) (target group targeting). We as website operators can evaluate this data quantitatively, for example by analysing which search terms led to the display of our advertisements and how many advertisements led to relevant clicks.
The use of Google Ads is in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). The website operator has a legitimate interest in marketing their service products as effectively as possible.

Facebook pixel
This website uses Facebook’s visitor action pixels to measure the conversion rate. This service is provided by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. However, according to Facebook, the data collected is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.

In this way, the behaviour of site visitors can be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider’s website after clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook Ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising campaigns to be optimised.
The collected data is anonymous for us as the operator of this website and we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for their own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Policy. This allows Facebook to enable the placement of advertisements on Facebook pages as well as outside of Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as a site operator.

The use of Facebook pixels is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). The website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising measures, including social media. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). The consent can be withdrawn at any time.
You will find further information on the protection of your privacy in the Facebook Data Policy: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
You can also disable the Custom Audiences remarketing feature in the Facebook Ad Preferences section at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. You must be logged in to Facebook to do this.
If you do not have a Facebook account, you can disable usage-based advertising from Facebook on the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance website: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

Newsletter data
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data will not be collected or done so on a purely voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
The data entered in the newsletter registration form will be processed exclusively in accordance with your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). You can withdraw your consent to the storage of the data and the e-mail address, as well as its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example by using the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the withdrawal of consent.
The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and are deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you have cancelled your subscription. Data that has been stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected.
After you have been removed from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored in a blacklist by us or the newsletter service provider to prevent future mailshots. The data from the blacklist will be used solely for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves both your interest and ours in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest in terms of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO) [General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR]. Storage of the data in the blacklist is not time-limited. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

MailChimp with deactivated performance measurement
This website uses the services of MailChimp for sending newsletters. Provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
MailChimp is a service with which, among other things, the sending of newsletters can be organised. If you enter data for the purpose of receiving newsletters (e.g. e-mail address), this data is stored on the MailChimp servers in the USA. We have deactivated the performance measurement function at Mailchimp, so that Mailchimp will not evaluate your behaviour when opening our newsletters.
MailChimp is certified according to the “EU-US Privacy Shield” agreement. “Privacy Shield” is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the USA, which is intended to guarantee compliance with European data protection standards in the USA.
If you do not want your data to be transferred to Mailchimp, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message for this purpose. Furthermore, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website.
The processing of data is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the cancellation.
The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and are deleted from the newsletter distribution list.
This serves both your interest and ours in complying with the legal requirements for sending newsletters (legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO) [General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR]. Storage of the data in the blacklist is not time-limited. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
You can find more details in the MailChimp Standard Terms of Use at: https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/.

Conclusion of a Data-Processing-Agreement
We have a so-called “Data-Processing Agreement” with MailChimp, in which we oblige MailChimp to protect the data of our customers and not to pass it on to third parties.

7. Plugins and tools
YouTube with Privacy Enhanced Mode
This website integrates videos from YouTube. The operator of the site is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use YouTube in Privacy Enhanced Mode. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this site before they watch the video. However, Privacy Enhanced Mode does not necessarily preclude sharing information with YouTube partners. For example, YouTube connects to the Google DoubleClick network whether or not you are watching a video.
As soon as you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to associate your browsing habits directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
Furthermore, YouTube can store various cookies on your device after starting a video or use comparable recognition technologies (e.g. device fingerprinting). In this way, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to gather video statistics, improve the user experience and prevent fraud.
It is possible that after the start of a YouTube video, further data processing operations may be triggered, over which we have no influence.
YouTube is used in the interest of presenting our online offers in an attractive way. This represents a legitimate interest in terms of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). The consent can be withdrawn at any time.
For more information about data protection when using YouTube, please see its privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Google Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts, which are provided by Google, for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google’s servers. This enables Google to know that this website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Fonts is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). The website operator has a legitimate interest in the uniform presentation of the font on his website. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). The consent can be withdrawn at any time.
If your browser does not support Web Fonts, a default font is used by your computer.
For more information about Google Fonts, please visit https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Google reCAPTCHA
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (known hereafter as “reCAPTCHA”) on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data input on this website (e.g. in a contact form) is done by a human being or by an automated programme. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor in accordance with various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For analysis purposes, reCAPTCHA evaluates various kinds of information (e.g. IP address, time spent on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses run completely in the background. Website visitors are not notified that an analysis is taking place.
Storage and analysis of the data is in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting their web content from abusive automated spying and from SPAM. If the appropriate consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). The consent can be withdrawn at any time.
For more information about Google reCAPTCHA, please see the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Terms of Use at the following links: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de and https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=de.

8. eCommerce and payment providers
Processing of data (customer and contract data)
We collect, process and use personal data only to the extent that they are necessary for the establishment, content or modification of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR), which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data on the use of this website (usage data) only to the extent necessary to enable the user to access the service or charge them for doing so.
The customer data collected will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.

Further transmission of the data will only take place if you have expressly agreed to the transmission. Your data will not be passed on to third parties for advertising purposes, for example, without your express consent.

Our social media presence
Data processing through social networks
We maintain publicly accessible profiles in social networks. You can find the social networks we use in detail below.
Social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. can usually analyse your user behaviour comprehensively when you visit their website or a website with integrated social media content (e.g. ‘like’ buttons or advertising banners). A visit to our social media platforms triggers numerous processing procedures relevant to data protection. In detail:
If you are logged in to your social media account and visit our social media platform, the operator of the social media portal can assign this visit to your user account. However, your personal data may also be captured if you are not logged in or do not have an account with the respective social media portal. In this case, the data is captured, for example, via cookies that are stored on your device or by logging your IP address.
With the help of the data collected in this way, the operators of the social media portals can create user profiles in which your preferences and interests are stored. In this way, interest-related advertising can be displayed to you both inside and outside the respective social media platform. If you have an account with the respective social network, interest-based advertising can be displayed on all devices on which you are or were logged in.

Please also be aware that we cannot track all processing on the social media portals. Depending on the provider, further processing may therefore be carried out by the operators of the social media portals. For details, please refer to the terms of use and data protection regulations of the respective social media portals.

Legal basis
Our social media appearances are designed to ensure the most comprehensive presence possible on the Internet. This is a legitimate interest in terms of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). The analytical processes initiated by the social networks may be based on different legal principles, which must be stated by the operators of the social networks (e.g. consent in terms of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) [General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR].

Responsible parties and assertion of rights
If you visit one of our social media sites (e.g. Facebook), we are jointly responsible with the operator of the social media platform for the data processing operations triggered during this visit. You can in principle assert your rights (information, correction, deletion, limitation of processing, data portability and grievance) both against us and against the operator of the respective social media portal (e.g. against Facebook).
Please note that despite the joint responsibility with the social media portal operators, we do not have full influence on the data processing procedures of the social media portals. Our options are largely dependent on the corporate policy of the respective provider.

Storage period
The data collected directly by us via our social media presence will be deleted from our systems as soon as the purpose for storing them no longer applies, you request us to delete them, you withdraw your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your device until you delete them. Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
We have no influence on the storage period of your data, which is stored by the operators of the social networks for their own purposes. For details, please contact the operators of the social networks directly (e.g. in their own privacy policy, see below).

Unsere Social–Media–Auftritte

B. in deren Datenschutzerklärung, siehe unten).
